Volunteer Spotlight: John Wood

We run on volunteer power and wholeheartedly believe we have the best volunteers at Milford Food Bank. So, each month, we feature one of our loyal volunteer staff members. Today, we are featuring John Wood from New Paris, Indiana.

In 2021, when John heard about the volume of need in his community, he felt the tug to volunteer at Milford Food Bank, and he's been volunteering here ever since. John is a friendly face at the food bank and can often be seen helping pantry reps and other volunteers with whatever needs to be done. He has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all the people at the food bank, but especially the volunteers who have had such a big impact on him. He loves his community, because it's home and filled with love for everyone.
