Milford Food Bank Receives Grant From Noble County Community Foundation

Milford, Indiana – The Community Foundation of Noble County is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to improving the quality of life in Noble County by serving as a catalyst for positive change, enabling donors to fulfill their charitable intent, and supporting initiatives that strengthen the community. The CFNC has already awarded more than $135,000 in grants in its first grant cycle this year. A total of $111,100 was awarded through the foundation's Community Impact Fund. Milford Food Bank is thrilled to announce that The Community Foundation of Noble County has awarded it $7,500 of these funds for community impact. MFB reaches over 5,000 Noble County residents each month through its partnerships with food pantries, school programs, and churches, as well as The Milford Food Bank Resource Store located in Ligonier, a place for residents to receive free essentials and support every month. Milford Food Bank is proud to be able to support the residents of Noble County in a variety of ways, but most importantly, to make efforts so no one goes hungry.
Milford Food Bank is a faith-based non-profit food bank that aims to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to share freely and give generously to those in need. MFB rescues bulk food and distributes it at no charge, providing essential support to local and regional food pantries, community kitchens, schools, churches, and recovery homes that care and provide for individuals and families facing food insecurity. It distributes over 350,000 pounds of food to over 200 organizations throughout Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan each month.
